Japan appears to be preparing to reopen abroad amid the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic. While tourists still cannot enter the country, foreign citizens living in Japan and those in Japan’s Asian bubble and corridor can enter More recently, it is assumed that medium- and long-term foreign citizens can enter from October 1; however, most countries still require users to go through a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) check 72 hours before their departure from Japan.
To make things easier, the Japanese government is offering an online page that allows readers to ebook PCR tests on Japanese medical services before departure. Called TeCOT, lately it will only be open to professionals and athletes, in addition to those competing at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics Although there is not much data beyond that, the online page will most likely be used for the Japanese bubble with seven Asian regions, which will soon allow entrepreneurs as well as the lounge with Singapore , which has given access to short-term businesses last month.
The online page will consult you through the procedure of booking a check at a medical center and provide you with the main points of the fees involved. It is expected to be available until the end of March 2021.
TeCOT is expected to open in October. We’ll let you know when more is available.
