MANILA, Philippines – As COVID-19 cases in the country are returning, the Department of Health (DOH) reminded the public on Monday not to panic, but to be careful.
“Dit pa lang kapag tiningnan natin, ang kaso talaga est tumataas et kailangan talaga mag-iingat tayong lahat”, Vergeire in an interview with Teleradyo.
“Hindi kailangang mag-panic but kailangan talaga mag-iingat (We don’t want to panic but we want to be careful),” he added.
“The maximum is to be serious and critical, we keep it to a minimum,” Vergeire said.
(The maximum is that the serious and critical instances are reduced to a minimum).
“The maximum is the maximum matrix and the maximum of the natin hospital is Napupune Hindi,” he added.
(Another thing is that we minimize the number of deaths and our hospitals are not full. )
According to the DOH’s COVID-19 tracker, those new infections have brought the country’s number of cases to 3,718,467 nationwide, with 3,644,009 recoveries and 60,640 deaths.
