The year 2022 marks the 70th anniversary of the Mass Patriotic Health Campaign. Launched in the early 1950s in China, it aimed to raise sanitation and hygiene levels and waterborne diseases.

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang issued orders in this regard and suggested efforts to adhere to the precept of prioritizing prevention and innovating similar enforcement mechanisms and approaches.
