“We heard one story after another from others who would have liked to take this seriously and take previous precautions; they didn’t think it would happen to them, and then it happened. So please don’t take any chances,” Evers tweeted.

On the days of the US presidential elections, the pandemic and the Trump administration’s handling of the virus ruled the election campaign.
President Donald Trump downplayed the risk of the pandemic and downplayed the virus, saying the country is “turning the corner” despite a stable buildup of cases.
This week, Trump said his wary parts and the media would be more sensible if they paid attention to the virus after the November 3 vote, even as the country’s most sensible public fitness experts predicted a dark winter in the United States.
Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has focused on Trump’s handling of the pandemic, saying in his most recent debate that “anyone who is guilty of those many deaths does not stay” president.
However, Trump has defended his resolve to reopen the U. S. economy, as opposed to the recommendation of his own government’s fitness experts, while many of his supporters in Michigan and elsewhere have protested against mitigation and lockout efforts.
The University of Washington Institute of Health predicted last month that the number of COVID-19 deaths in the United States could exceed 400,000 by the end of this year.
The White House Coronavirus Working Group warned this week of the persistent and widespread spread of COVID-19 in the western part of the United States, and called for competitive infection mitigation measures.
“We are on a very complicated trajectory. We are going in the right direction,” said Dr. Anthony Fauci, a member of the working group and director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
Fauci noted Wednesday that COVID-19 cases were in 47 states and that patients were overwhelming hospitals across the country.
“If things don’t change, if you continue on the path we’re following, there will be a lot of pain in this country regarding more cases, hospitalizations and deaths,” Fauci said in an interview with CNBC Wednesday night.
