In Sweden, the recent commissioning of the Stöllsäterberget wind farm marks a milestone, with a total capacity of 47. 2 MW in the provinces of Dalarna and Värmland. Leveraging its expertise in power purchase agreements (PPAs), wpd has signed a contract with Microsoft for the direct procurement of the green electricity produced, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable energy solutions.
The environmental approval of the Ripfjället project, located northwest of the Stöllsäterberget wind farm, paves the way for long-term expansion.
