Mansour Al-Kheziem, General Manager of National Aviation Services (NAS) in Kuwait, announced the launch of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, the UAE’s national ultra-low-cost airline in Kuwait. The inaugural flight took off from Kuwait International Airport to Abu Dhabi International Airport last night. Mansour Al Hashemi, Chief Operating Officer – Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Adrian Cramer, Chief Operating Officer, Wizz Air, Mubarak Al-Refai, Director of Passenger Services at Domestic Aviation Services and other NAS Operations Managers attended the inauguration.
Al Kheziem noted that travelers can purchase Wizz Air tickets from any travel and tourism workplace in Kuwait, the airline’s website: www. wizzair. com or the mobile app. Kuwait is Wizz Air Abu Dhabi’s fifth key destination in the Gulf region. The new direction will be connectivity within the GCC by offering a very low-cost travel option of choice for passengers between the two Gulf countries. This is in line with the national airline’s ambitions to provide tourists and citizens with affordable and hassle-free travel to the UAE and the entire region.
