With 1,334, India records the lowest one-day Covid instances in 188 days; die

India recorded 1,334 new coronavirus infections, the lowest level in 188 days, bringing the number of cases to 4,46,44,076, while the number of active cases dropped to 23,193, the Union Health Ministry said on Monday.

India recorded two crores of instances in May and 3 crores on June 23 last year, and four crores on January 25.

Of the four deaths recorded in the last 24 hours, one each reported in Karnataka, Odisha, Tripura and Uttar Pradesh.
