Williams will make adjustments to the workers’ bodies of his Formula One track team for the Turkish Grand Prix after finding a number of COVID-19 cases in the last two races.
All F1 groups run with reduced staff on site until 2020 as a component of FIA protocols to organize the big prizes of the existing pandemic.
Each team member must undergo rigorous selection while running at events, as well as independent tests conducted through teams, which have on-call personnel to respond if the effects are positive.
Williams will exchange several members of his track for next weekend’s Turkish Grand Prix after reporting several COVID-19 cases at the Portimao and Imola events.
“Williams can verify that we had a number of positive COVID-19 cases during the Portuguese Grand Prix and Emilia-Romagna,” Williams said.
“While we do not itemize an individual’s personal information, we can verify that all instances were treated in accordance with the FIA COVID-19 guidelines, working with the FIA and with the continued protection of our other people as a priority.
“For us to follow these guidelines, several members of our floor team are also ingesting after being known as close contacts of those positive cases.
“According to our internal COVID-19 protocols, several members of the factory team will hold those positions over the next weekend of the Turkish Grand Prix.
“We ask to perceive that we will not upload any more data on this, however, we would like to thank all the members of our factory-based traveling team and their families for their ongoing paintings and help in what is an incredibly complicated time. “
Paddock staff will need to perform a COVID-19 check every five days while running at F1 events, as well as one within the first 24 hours after arriving at the paddock.
The most recent FIA and F1 report showed that there were 8 cases of 1781 tests conducted between 30 October and 5 November.
It is known whether Williams’ positive cases are included in this figure or array, as any independent tests performed across groups are counted through F1 or FIA.
