According to this, two indigenous vaccine applicants have nearly completed phase II clinical trials.

Meanwhile, the vaccine developed through Oxford has completed Phase II to the maximum and is probably the most likely to begin the last phase of testing. For the same reason, 17 sites have been completed in India and thousands of volunteers have also been selected. The first dose will be given on the first day and then on the 29th. Volunteers will be closely monitored, according to the Serum Institute of India.
