Jean-Pierre said Biden had “regular contact” with Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine and Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro. Still, it’s unclear whether the president had spoken to the mayor of eastern Palestine.

Conway sidelined Biden earlier this week, accusing him of neglecting his day-to-day housework “while giving him millions of dollars” on his wonderful scale in Ukraine.

When asked about the federal handling of the poisonous spill as news of the president’s wonderful stopover in Kiev circulated, Conway said on “Jesse Watters Primetime”: “It’s the biggest slap in the face. That tells you right now that he doesn’t care. “You can send all the agencies you want, but this morning I found out that you are in Ukraine giving millions of dollars to other people there and not to us. . . Presidents Day in our country, so I’m furious. “
