On August 11, Russia became the first country in the world to officially sign a coronavirus vaccine and said it was fit to be used. The “first” vaccine in the world opposed to the new clinically approved coronavirus manufactured through the Gamaleya Research Institute in collaboration with the Russian Ministry of Defense. Russian President Vladimir Putin reportedly said his daughter had won at a post, hoping that Russia would soon begin mass production of the COVID-19 vaccine. She added that her daughter had a mild temperature after being vaccinated but that she temporarily disappeared.
Since the ad, #RussiaVaccine has a trend on Twitter. Memes have flooded social media ever since. While other people use photographs with the dialogues of famous Bollywood comedians Rajpal Yadav and Paresh Rawal, there are other people who have also made videos. The discovery of the vaccine is also compared to the film “Endgame”. Putin’s photographs are also reshaped with other photographs to create memes.

Even after the vaccine has been extracted and tested, it is far from easily accessible. People living outdoors in Russia will face primary disorders to access the vaccine. According to an AP report, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova promised to launch the “industrial production” of the Gam-COVID-Vac Lyo vaccine in September. However, the National Pharmaceuticals Register online page has shown that the vaccine will appear to be in flux as of January 1, 2021. “Date of introduction to civil traffic – 01.01.2021,” the site noted.
