US President Joe Biden visited Sharm el-Sheikh, where Egypt hosts the COP27 climate conference, on Friday and won through Egyptian Planning Minister Hala al-Saeed.
Biden’s lasted about three hours and marked his first stop in Egypt since taking office in 2021.
Biden comes to talk about some vital regional and bilateral issues and participate in the 27th meteorological conference.
The US president held a bilateral meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to discuss progress in the Middle East and underscore the US commitment to stability and international relations to end conflicts in the region and defuse tensions.
The bilateral meeting between Biden and President Sisi took position at 3:55 p. m. at the Tonino Lamborghini International Convention Center.
Biden delivered his climate speech at 5:15 p. m.
He then left Sharm el-Sheikh Airport at 6:20 p. m. m. , bound for Cambodia to participate in the annual U. S. summit. The US-ASEAN summit, from November 12 to 13, then participated in the East Asia summit on November 13, then to Bali. , Indonesia, to participate in the G20 summit.
