At the same time, Congress is seeking to make things right with the corps of military workers who have been unable to rise through the ranks or because they were not vaccinated.

Younts told Just The News that at the height of the pandemic, West Point had a policy in place prohibiting cadets from traveling for sports or other events. As soon as the vaccine was made available to cadets, those who were vaccinated were able to travel, while those who were not vaccinated were not.
Last semester, however, West Point reportedly abandoned politics and allowed unvaccinated cadets to attend sporting and other events.

When contacted Monday to verify, the U. S. Military Academy’s Office of Public Affairs and Communications was not allowed to verify that it was not known to be able to do so. UU. no assured that this was the case.

Ministry staff explained by phone that it would be difficult to reimpose a policy that was never eliminated.
The Pentagon has officially abandoned a questionable COVID-19 vaccination mandate for troops under the National Defense Authorization Act. What the law has not done, however, is reinstate the corps of military workers who have been discarded or who have gotten their benefits just by refusing the vaccine.

The reinstatement takes precedence for some Republicans who have said the strict mandate is one reason the draft into the military is at an all-time low.
