Several communities in western North Carolina have settled on a U. S. Postal Service pilot program. The U. S. Department of Health and Prevention is expected to develop COVID-19. ineedacovid19check. com verification until January 15, 2023.
The pilot program is part of CDC’s “Increasing Community Access to Testing” initiative. ICATT is partnering with states, communities, and testing providers to provide loose COVID-19 testing to other uninsured individuals and communities disproportionately impacted by the pandemic.
“Testing is a key component of our ongoing response to COVID-19, and we continue to do loose testing for other North Carolinians,” said Elizabeth Cuervo Tilson, M. D. , M. P. H. , state fitness director and lead medical officer for NCDHHS. “As the winter months approach, it’s vital that you don’t forget to get tested if you’re feeling sick, have symptoms of COVID-19, or have been in close contact with someone with COVID-19. “
The verification kits can be obtained for free, will arrive in a day or two via USPS, and can be used in five simple steps:
Order your verification kits ahead of time so you’re in a position where you’re feeling in poor health or want a COVID-19 check. There is a short period to fix it after verification.
Get checked for COVID-19 if you have symptoms or have been in close contact with COVID-19, even if you are up to date on your vaccinations. If your check is positive, stay away from others and follow CDC isolation guidelines. See a doctor right away if you have shortness of breath or other signs of caution.
