An Endicott store that the government said was concerned about obvious criminal activity was evicted from the area it occupied on Washington Avenue.
The town’s mayor, Innda Jackson, said Endicott Deli
The mayor said the store at the corner of Washington Avenue and North Street has been the source of a lot of disorder in recent years. He said the store was suspected of illegally promoting marijuana.
The company reportedly shut down suddenly last week. Jackson said she was satisfied that “this store no longer exists. “
A boy who works near the site said that when the company closed, it was “like a hurricane. “He claimed the products were removed from the store and taken away.
The man said there was a “constant influx of problems” caused by other people visiting the company. Although the situation is calm for now, he said he was concerned that “something else could set in and cause similar problems. “
The 2 Washington Avenue store is located directly across from the Huron campus, near the busy construction through BAE Systems.
Although the products have been recalled, the closed store is now littered with debris.
Property listings imply that the construction is owned by Next Level Mazel LLC of Orange County. It is possible to contact the owner’s representatives for comments.
