ILLINOIS – Nothing in 2020 was typical, and Tuesday’s election may not be, and we may not know who the next president will be on Election Day.
According to the Associated Press, we may not know whether President Donald Trump or former Vice President Joe Biden won election night, “and that’s fine,” despite the president’s insistence that the effects be slower than usual, a sign of trouble.
The most important thing that can delay the effects of the election is the fact that due to the coronavirus pandemic, this time millions of Americans chose to vote by mail. In general, “these ballots take longer to count,” according to the Associated Press.

2020 Illinois Voter Registration: Five Things to Know
