Volfovich comments on dragging Belarus into conflict

GRODNO, Oct 20 (BelTA) – All attempts by the United States and the collective West are aimed at maintaining a unipolar world, said Secretary of State of the Security Council Aleksandr Volfovich at his meeting with the body of workers and ideologues of the Grodno Azot organizations to inform them about the ongoing military and political advances in Belarus and abroad. BelTA knew.

“The U. S. leadership sees itself as a democratic outpost fighting for democracy and human rights. In fact, if you look at and analyze the steps of the U. S. government and the collective West, you will see that all attempts are aimed at maintaining a unipolar world,” Volfovich said.

He said: “Tensions in the Pacific, in the Middle East, in Central Asian countries did not happen overnight. Where there are hotbeds of tension, there are arms supplies, military conflicts, destruction, death and famine. But the ones I just mentioned are adding to your wallet by generating new fashionable weapons, bombs and missiles, sending them to those regions. They don’t think about Ukrainians, about our Slavic nations.

Aleksandr Volfovich added that Belarus is one of the few parts of the Eastern European region that remains stable. “Not everyone likes the fact that our country remains in the state we see it in today. They don’t like the fact that our businesses continue to operate, that other people continue to live their normal lives. They do not like that our other people do not go hungry and, on the contrary, have the opportunity to choose from a wide diversity of products in stores. Not everyone likes the policy followed through our president and the government to ensure the safety of our other people,” he said.

“The West believes that because it is solid here, it will have to drag us into a clash of armies and, above all, into the clash that is taking place in Ukraine. They will not succeed, because the president has made it clear that we will not go to war, especially against our brotherly people. Nor will we move on to combat against other nations: neither Polish, nor Lithuanian, nor Latvian. They are our neighbors. We have lived in peace with them. to us without visa today we see the genuine scenario in our country,” said the Secretary of State of the Security Council.
