Detectives from the Plano Police home invasion unit arrested Charles Ray Gordon, 42, of Fort Worth, with a notable warrant for trespassing in the 1800 block of East Spring Creek Parkway, the branch said on social media.

Video released by police shows a suspect with a tool to lock a resident’s door.

After the Oct. 28 arrest, assets from burglaries were discovered in and around Plano in Gordon’s vehicle, police said.

Gordon is under investigation for his alleged involvement in apartment robberies that targeted homes occupied by Asian and Indian residents, police said.

The police branch noted that it conducts flexible security checks for residents.
