Earlier wednesday, Biden reversed the course of a national mask mandate, and said on Twitter that he would institute that term as president and that he would ensure losing evidence and accelerating vaccine development.
The former vice-president agreed that, if elected, he would prefer governors to impose hidden mandates themselves, but doubts whether he could justify or mask the mandate at the national level if governors were reluctant to do so.

That same year, Biden admitted to plagiarating a magazine for an article in Syracuse Law School.
A 1965 law school report concluded that Biden had “used five pages of an article published in a quote or attribution of a law journal” for a 15-page article.
He asked the school principals to expel him, saying he had made a mistake in the parenting process.
“My goal is not to lie to anyone,” Biden wrote at the time, “because if that were the case, it wouldn’t have been so brazen,” according to the Times.

To assert his sincerity, Biden published a 65-page dossier on his years in Syracuse containing poor grade recordings, combined assessments of instructors, and major plagiarism points.
