Gen. Pat Ryder told a news conference Tuesday that the United States remains “concerned” about “the risk in the region” and is “in normal contact” with Saudi officials.
“We reserve the right and preserve ourselves no matter where our forces serve, whether in Iraq or anywhere else,” Ryder said, declining to give details of an explicit threat.
