USA. U. S. Extends COVID Public Fitness Emergency – CNBC

(Reuters) – The United States on Wednesday extended the prestige of the COVID-19 pandemic as a public fitness emergency in April, CNBC reported on Wednesday, bringing up the U. S. Department of Health.

The expansion of millions of Americans to continue to get loose tests, vaccines and remedies and expand Medicaid, among other things.

The emergency was first declared in January 2020, when the coronavirus pandemic began, and has been renewed every quarter since. It ended to end this week.

The U. S. Department of Health and Human Servicesdid not respond to Reuters’ request for comment.
