U. S. Rep. Jahana Hayes, D-5th District, announced Sunday that she had contracted COVID-19, a day after entering on approximately 40,14 mandatory days through a positive check from a member.
Hayes, whose district covers a giant domain in northwest Connecticut, is the first member of the Connecticut delegation to test positive for COVID. Hayes said he had worked in close contact with a member who recently tested positive for the disease.
It is not known whether the inflamed member worked in his workplace on Capitol Hill or in the workplace of his/her waterbury district.
On a Sunday morning posted and posted on Twitter, Hayes described the procedure for obtaining the check and said his delight underscored the need for a more coherent national control strategy.
“After going to two emergency care centers yesterday, in spite of everything, I was given an appointment at a third place and tested this morning. Contrary to popular belief, members of Congress do not test regularly. This point of anxiety and uncertainty is unsustainable. I’m asymptomatic, from respiratory disorders that are being monitored. Please keep my circle of family and staff in your prayers”.
His Announcement on Twitter included an MP video with a nasal swab on the car site.

This is the moment when Hayes has announced that he has been quarantined for the pandemic.
The first time in April, when her husband, Milford Hayes, a Waterbury police officer, tested positive for COVID-19 in his workplace.
Hayes is at least the fifteenth member of the House positive for COVID-19, and two U. S. senators have. Many other federal lawmakers have been quarantined due to exposure to other inflamed people.
