The First Lady of the United States, Jill Biden, has been tested for Covid-19.
President Joe Biden, however, has lately tested negative for coronavirus. His spokesman said the politician would continue to be tested during the week.
Dr. Biden would rest at her home in Delaware. He is believed to have “mild symptoms,” The Telegraph reports.
The news comes after the couple traveled to Florida on Saturday to see the aftermath of Hurricane Idalia. This is the second time FLOTUS, 72, has been tested for Covid.

In August last year, the president’s wife was tested for Covid. Soon after, Biden himself recovered from the same virus.
Both Bidens are part of a high-risk Covid organization because of their age, but were vaccinated against the disease.
Elizabeth Alexander, Ms. Biden’s communications director, said, “Tonight the First Lady tested positive for Covid-19. Lately you have mild symptoms. He will remain at his home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
While Karine Jean-Pierre, White House press secretary, stated: “Following the First Lady’s positive Covid-19 check, President Biden administered a Covid check tonight. The president tested negative. The president will conduct checks at a steady pace this week and monitor symptoms.

Covid cases have increased in the United States in recent weeks. Hospitalizations rose 19% to 15,067 as of Aug. 19. The Centers for Disease Control and Protection also found that deaths increased 18 percent.
