Covid-19 vaccine through Bharat Biotech
The first vaccine, Covaxin, is an inactivated virus vaccine that is the Bharat Biotech vaccine that is being developed in collaboration with the Indian Medical Research Council (ICMR). The vaccine completed its Phase 1 exam at 11 sites and began its Phase 2 clinical trial.

Oxford University vaccine manufactured through the Serum Institute of India
The third is a recombinant vaccine from the University of Oxford manufactured through the Serum Institute of India, which has received DCGI approval for a phase 2 and 3 clinical trial in the country. Clinical studies will begin at 17 sites this week, Balram Bhargava said of ICMR.
