Update of some COVID sites in Shandong

Some COVID-19 testing sites in cities in Shandong province have been remodeled into transient fever clinics to provide more convenient supply as local governments optimize their responses to the coronavirus pandemic.

In Zaozhuang’s Taierzhuang district, some testing sites have also been operating as transient fever clinics since Sunday. The signs remind citizens that they can get convenient medical care in a specific location.

Ibuprofen, a painkiller, sells for 1. 44 yuan ($0. 21) for 10 tablets.

The Shandong Health Commission on Sunday issued a call to medical providers in urban and rural spaces to coordinate resources to meet residents’ medical wishes.

Measures recommended by the commission included upgrading testing booths to fever clinics and building a base of medical diagnostic and remedial facilities in which a resident can succeed within 15 minutes.

Heze’s Chengwu County has converted 56 test stations into fever cure fuel stations to supply diagnostics and medicines. Each station has a doctor and nurse on call and helps keep medicines in stock. Available medications will be adjusted and replenished according to demand.

Fuel stations are being installed to provide greater medical supplies to residents, as more people are expected to return home as the Lunar New Year holiday approaches, Ping Yuhua, director of Chengwu County People’s Hospital, told iqilu. com.

At a transient fever clinic in Jinan’s Huaiyin district, it takes about 10 minutes for a resident to see a doctor and get medicine.

The check had already provided some basics, making improvement less difficult than building a new fever clinic, said Lyu Qiang of the Dahuaishu Medio Street Community Medical Services Center in Huaiyin district.

“We spent a day and a half turning a booth into a fever clinic,” Lyu said.

The street fever clinic has a doctor and a pharmacist. In addition, it has been incorporated into the city’s health system.
