The Nova Scotia Health Authority reported 4 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday.
The new cases, known Friday, are in the central area, the fitness authority said. Two are similar to outside the Canadian Atlantic and the other two are close contacts of cases reported in the past.
On Saturday, there were 20 COVID-19 assets in the province. On Friday, fitness authority laboratories conducted 933 tests in Nova Scotia.
To date, Nova Scotia has 116,300 negative control results, 1,125 positive COVID-19 cases, and 65 deaths; no one has been hospitalized recently. Diversity of cases in the age range from 10 to over 90 years. Now a thousand 40 cases are resolved after being known in all regions of the province.
Nova Scotia Public Health also informs the public of two other conditions in which there may have been exposure to COVID-19, one at a store in downtown Halifax and the other on a WestJet flight from Toronto to Halifax on October 30.
The named retail location is the Dollarama store at Scotia Square Mall, with prospective exposure for those who were there October 27-30 between noon and 3 p. m.
Anyone who has been in the store during those periods is asked to monitor for symptoms of COVID-19, which would possibly extend through November 13.
WestJet Flight 254, departing Toronto at 9:45 p. m. On 30 October and landed in Halifax at 0100 on 31 October, also cited as a possible site for COVID-19. Passengers in rows 15 to 21, seats A, B and C are more likely to have had close contact.
Passengers who have flown in those seats are asked to call 811 for recommendations and continue to become ingessed Exposure to the virus is expected to expand symptoms until November 13.
All other passengers on this flight should continue to identify themselves as needed and self-control to detect symptoms and symptoms of COVID-19.
