Up to 12,000 more people left Kazakhstan in six months

NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM – Data released by the Bureau of Statistics shows a net migration loss of another 5,057 people with 12,344 departures while another 7,287 people arrived, Kazinform reports.

Those arriving from CIS countries accounted for 84. 5 per cent and those who left for 83. 0 per cent of the total number of migrants.

According to the figures, the number of immigrants decreased by 1. 4%.

There is an overall migration gain in the cities of Almaty (17,691 people), Nur-Sultan (15,753) and Shymkent (1,883).
