The 8 Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), ranging from halving excessive poverty rates to halting the spread of HIV/AIDS and providing universal number one education, all by the 2015 deadline, shape a plan agreed upon by every country in the world and every major institution of global progress. They have driven unprecedented efforts to satisfy the desires of the world’s poorest.
