United Arab Emirates reports highest cases of coronavirus since outbreak

With 1,100 new cases, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Thursday recorded its highest overall level of coronavirus infections since the outbreak began.

Infections in the Arab Gulf state have increased in the two months, from 164 to 3 August, which the government has attributed to the lack of respect of the population for social estating measures.

The national count of the United Arab Emirates is 94,190 infections and 419 deaths, the government does not reveal where in the seven emirates occurred.

More than 33. 9 million cases have been reported worldwide, with 1,014,158 deaths, according to figures compiled through Johns Hopkins University in the United States.
