The groom, his father and the bride’s father have been referred to the prosecution and legal action will be brought against them, Abu Dhabi police said in a statement.
Hosts may face a fine of AED 10,000 ($2,722), while visitors may face a fine of AED 5,000 ($1361).

88% of coronavirus cases reported in the country in more than two weeks are the result of Americans who have complied with social estating protocols and preventive measures, UAE government spokeswoman Dr. Farida al-Hosani said.
This includes others who have attended weddings, celebrations, giant gatherings and funerals and who have not maintained social estating practices or who do not wear masks, he added.
The United Arab Emirates has reported that a total of 76911 cases showed cases of the new coronavirus.
