The United Arab Emirates has detected 236 new cases of the new coronavirus, one death and 389 COVID-19 recoveries in the last 24 hours, according to fitness officials.
Recently detected infections raise the UAE number to 57,734, after the country performed 47,014 COVID-19 tests.

The death confirmed on Wednesday brings the country’s death toll due to coronavirus to 342.
At least 50354 cases have recovered from coronavirus since the onset of the pandemic epidemic.
Health showed that 7038 were still being treated in coronavirus medical services.
During the presentation, Dr. Omar Al Hammadi, official spokesperson for the GOVERNMENT of the United Arab Emirates, said that the fundamental reproductive rate of the virus reflects the rate at which it spreads, explaining that the most recent figure of Covid-19 the rate reaches 0.74, or less than 1.

Al-Hammadi noted that with the slow opening of the country’s economic and tourism sectors, individual duty in combating the spread of the virus has doubled, noting that others who followed 3 vital instructions; Dressed in masks, respecting non-public hygiene regulations and social estrangement have provided a great service to society and the fitness sector,” according to a report by the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
