Dubai: Dr. Amin Hussein Al Amiri, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Prevention of Public Health Policies and Licenses (MOHAP), recently met with Dr. Ir Penny Kusumastuti Lukito, President of the Indonesian Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and Husin Bagis, Indonesia’s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, to discuss opportunities for mutual cooperation in the medical box.

The assembly discussed customers signing a cooperation agreement on the pharmaceutical box, adding medicines and vaccines, the assembly also discussed the importance of cooperation between pharmaceutical regulators in the two countries, cooperation between drug and vaccine brands in the United Arab Emirates and Indonesia, mutual investment in the fitness and pharmacy sectors , and share experiences, sell cooperation, evaluation and accreditation of the Indonesian medical corps of workers in the UAE.
Welcoming the Indonesian ambassador and the accompanying delegation, Al Amiri said the assembly aimed to continue efforts in the pharmaceutical industry, drug registration and vaccines, respecting the strategic partnership between the two countries in the pharmaceutical industry, i. e. medicines approved through World Health. Organization (WHO) to satisfy the wishes of the entire region.
He added: “The assembly is part of the bilateral agreements that the two countries signed at the end of 2019 in Indonesia. Agreements on medicines and vaccines were also discussed, which will be coordinated through the Decomposer for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. “
In turn, the Delegation of Indonesia commended the quality and effectiveness of the UAE physical care system, which had gained growing foreign confidence, underlining its country’s willingness to cooperate and exchange reports in the pharmaceutical and vaccine field.
The Delegation expressed its deep gratitude to the United Arab Emirates for sending medical supplies to Indonesia to fitness personnel in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
