Beginning October 15, consumers traveling with United from San Francisco International Airport to Hawaii will have the opportunity to fast at the airport or receive an email prior to their trip.
The launch coincides with the start through Hawaii of a pre-travel verification program that allows travelers to pass a COVID-19 check no earlier than 72 hours before the arrival of their flight to Hawaii’i to mandatory 14-day quarantine if checking negative returns for the virus.
GoHealth Emergency Care Quick Test
United Airlines is the first U. S. airline. In launching a COVID-19 pilot verification program that, according to airline executives, can facilitate control of quarantine needs and access needs for travelers to popular destinations around the world.
United has partnered with Dignity Health-GoHealth Urgent Care to provide immediate on-site checks to designated consumers traveling from San Francisco International to Hawaii. United consumers on the day of their flight from SFO.

United is running with Color to offer mailed checks collected by themselves to consumers traveling to Hawaii. United will send an email to consumers traveling from San Francisco to Hawaii with an invitation to purchase their personal Color selection kit ordered by a doctor at least 10 days prior to departure, collect their own samples at home 72 hours before departure, and return their check overnight. or a deposit box in SFO.
Color then processes those controls in its COVID-19 qualified CLIA control lab and returns the effects via SMS and/or email within 24 to 48 hours. Color’s automatic selection kit includes a plastic sampling tube, a noninvasive nasal swab, and commands. about how to take a sample.
The airline worked throughout Hawaii to align testing with state requirements.
The airline worked largely with Hawaii officials to ensure that any United visitor, whether visitors and citizens of Hawaii returning home, whose effects are negative on any of the tests within the allotted time, are not subject to the state’s existing 14-day quarantine requirement.
United has lately offered more flights to Hawaii than any other major network operator, adding service between San Francisco and Honolulu, Maui and Kona.
