The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in the Philippines, led through Deputy Resident Representative Enrico Gaveglia, has donated 5,000 cleanfiable face masks and 5,000 bars of soap to the Office of Corrections (BuCor) to help prevent the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid -19) internal from New Bilibid Prison.
The donation of non-public protective devices (PPIs) and hygiene materials has been facilitated through UNDP projects in the Philippines, which BuCor reform paints for detainees.
