KYIV – Ukraine recorded a record 4,633 CASES of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, the national security council said Friday, compared to a record 4069 new cases reported on Thursday and the biggest jump since the outbreak began.
The count of coronavirus infections increased in September due and early October above 4,000, which led the government to extend blockade measures until the end of October.
The council said a total of 217,661 had been recorded in Ukraine as of October 2, with 4,261 deaths (Report via Pavel Polityuk; Edited via Kirsten Donovan).
