KYIV – Ukraine recorded 4,753 instances of COVID-19 in more than 24 hours, the National Security Council said Wednesday, with a record 4,661 new instances reported on October 3.
The council said a total of 239,337 cases had been reported in Ukraine as of 7 October, with 4,597 deaths, including in the last 24 hours.
The count of coronavirus infections rose above 4000 in September due and early October, which led the government to extend employers’ closure measures until the end of October (report via Natalia Zinets edited through Shri Navaratnam).
