LONDON – The UK reported 3,497 new cases of COVID-19, according to the government’s knowledge published on Saturday, up from 3,539 the previous day.
He also reported further coronavirus deaths.
Friday’s figure is the highest number of daily cases reported since mid-May, and Britain must introduce a new ban on social gatherings on Monday as a way to curb the growing increase in infections (Report via Michael Holden, edited through William Maclean).
