Uber drove a billion miles in terms of rides in Bangladesh.
The ride-sharing platform made the announcement while celebrating 6 years of operations in Bangladesh.
Uber pioneered app-based ridesharing in Bangladesh and most recently operates in 20 cities across the country.
Uber also partnered with the Bangladesh Police to exercise motive power partners to raise awareness of traffic rules and regulations.
The first circular will be delivered through two Bangladeshi police officers and an Uber representative, where drivers will be informed about road safety, traffic rules and regulations, trip cancellations, offline trips and money collection.
