The United Arab Emirates welcomed the signing of a seven-day ceasefire agreement through representatives of the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces in the Republic of the Sudan, and expressed the hope that it would be a step towards a comprehensive and lasting agreement.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) praised the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America, which resulted in the signing of the agreement, to enable the delivery of relief and humanitarian aid. , repair essential installations and paints to end the crisis and the scenario for the exploitation of the Sudanese.
The Ministry expressed the hope that this step will facilitate the arrival of relief and humanitarian aid to the affected areas, especially for the most vulnerable groups, adding the sick, children, the elderly and women, and a permanent ceasefire to serve the interests of other Sudanese and to achieve the desired political stability and security in Sudan.
