UAE President Meets World Leaders on the Sidelines of World Future Energy Summit

The President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, won a series of world leaders who will travel to the UAE to attend Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week activities.

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed met on the sidelines of the World Future Energy Summit with President Hakainde Hichilema of Zambia; Nana Akufo-Addo, President of Ghana; Yoweri Museveni, President of Uganda; and Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, President of Mozambique.

His Highness welcomed the 4 leaders on their stopover in the UAE, wishing them and their peoples more progress and prosperity.

The meetings focused on bilateral relations between the UAE and its respective countries, and tactics to expand them in the fields.

They explained Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week and its role in selling sustainability globally, as well as the joint cooperation between the UAE and its countries in this regard.

They also reviewed the United Nations Conference of the Parties on Climate Change (COP28), which is taking place in the UAE this year, and stressed its importance in mobilizing joint external action to address the climate challenge and supply emerging and deficient countries, namely in Africa. mitigating its negative effects.
