Islamabad: The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates introduced the “Let’s Shake Hands with All” program for schools, colleges, universities and orphanages in Islamabad.
The program basically includes the distribution of hand sanitizers, COVID-19 sensitization materials, books, etc.
UAE Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Al-Zaabi, speaking at the hand sanitist ceremony, expressed the united Arab Emirates government’s determination to maintain relations with Pakistan in all areas.
Pakistan said, like the home of the last founder of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan, and bipastic relations between the two countries are based on mutual love, respect and trust.
More than one million Pakistanis also contribute to the economies of the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan, and the leaders of the United Arab Emirates have greatly appreciated their positive role, he said.
The ENF envoy said the hygiene crusade as a component of the “Let’s Give Everyone a Clean Hand” program points to the Pakistani government in its efforts to combat COVID-19.
Pakistan has already done well opposing the pandemic, and even the World Health Organization (WHO) has identified the country’s historic achievement opposed to the virus, adding it among the seven countries reported to the global in the fight against coronavirus.
The ambassador of the United Arab Emirates said hand hygiene plays a vital role and is the first and very effective shield against the pandemic, so he considered it appropriate to distribute hand sanitizers among educational establishments.
Ambassador Zaabi said the leaders of the United Arab Emirates have valued helping Pakistan (in addition to economic cooperation) in the physical education and education sectors as they build strong ties between peoples and are destined for generations.
Even now, projects controlled across the United Arab Emirates are underway in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), South Waziristan and Balochistan, the ambassador said.
Across Pakistan, many educational establishments and hospitals reflect the UAE government’s commitment to contributing to Pakistan’s development, the ambassador said.
The ambassador of the United Arab Emirates said that the definition and dynamics of international relations were being transformed and that today, the greater the emphasis on comfortable or cultural international relations.
The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates, aware of the desire to bring culture, history, geography, etc. of the United Arab Emirates, has enabled a corner in the National Library of Islamabad where there are a giant number of reference documents, books available to researchers and academics who wish to be more informed about the country.
AQA Vice-Chancellor Professor Mohammad Ali, thanking the ambassador, said the gesture of past will go a long way in the collaboration between the university and the embassy. Regular college catechesis begins on September 21 and this hand sanitizer donation is timely and helpful, he said.
