The UNITED Arab Emirates health government announced Monday that the country had the use of a coronavirus vaccine for emergency purposes, according to a report through Livemint.
The vaccine is lately in its third phase in the Gulf country. The trials are being conducted through abu Dhabi-based synthetic intelligence company G42 in collaboration with Chinese pharmaceutical company Sinopharm.
By the third phase, 31,000 volunteers took the vaccine.
The U. S. National Crisis and Disaster Management Authority said on Twitter: “The vaccine will be available to our frontline heroes who are at the highest threat of contracting the virus. “
In early July, G42 noted that the Chinese company had decided on the United Arab Emirates for testing, as the country had more than two hundred nationalities.
The resolution came when last Saturday’s infection in the United Arab Emiss crossed the 1,000 mark for the first time.
Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates, which has a total population of nine million, recorded 80,940 cases of the new coronavirus, of which more than 70,000 people have already recovered from the virus, while another 401 people died from coronavirus in the country. , according to the Worldometer report.
