August 11 (UPI) – At the time, consecutive day, the United States has reported a count of fewer than 50,000 new COVID-19 instances.
The two-day series below 50,000 is the first in a week and is the time since early July.
New cases were also reported in Florida, which reported fewer than 4,500 on Monday for the first time in weeks. State noticed an addition of 4,100, the lowest figure since June 23.
The state, which experienced a large buildup of cases last month, has conducted more than four million coronavirus tests.
“[I] sense there’s a lot of anguish there, there’s a lot of fear,” he said. “There’s no point in telling a parent, ‘Go ahead, send your child if he’s not comfortable.'”
In Louisiana, Jefferson Parish to delay the start of fall categories for two weeks. Students were scheduled to start on Wednesday. Jefferson Parish is a component of the Metropolitan Domain of New Orleans and its school district is the largest in the state.
In California, senior fitness officer in Los Angeles County said he was “cautiously optimistic” that the spread is slowing due to intensified prevention efforts.
Los Angeles County Director of Public Health Barbara Ferrer said key signs show “signs of stability.” The county has experienced an average of 37 deaths consistent with the day for more than two weeks.
Before, however, California’s most sensible fitness officer resigned after learning that a PC challenged the culprits for failing to report the number of cases.
“While our knowledge shows signs of stability, we are all slow to get accurate reports from our labs,” Ferrer told reporters.
