LONDON – More than a million people in the United States can die of COVID-19 by the end of February next year, however, about 130,000 of those lives could be stored if everyone wearing masks, according to a model study.
Estimates, taken from an exam conducted through researchers from the University of Washington Institute of Health Assessment and Metrics, show that with few effective remedy functions for COVID-19 and no vaccine available, the United States faces “an ongoing public fitness challenge opposed to COVID-19 through winter. “
The study found that giant populated states like California, Texas, and Florida are likely to face the highest levels of illness, death, and demands for hospital resources.
