PASIG CITY, August 28 (PIA) – The United States has donated one hundred new enthusiasts and related materials to the Philippines to help them fight COVID-19.
U.S. Ambassador Sung Kim, Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea and Ministry of Health Secretary Francisco Duque led the delivery of enthusiasts to Malacaang Palace on Friday, August 28.
Fans, produced in the United States, incorporate generation and demand. They will be an important resource for patients who require oxygen.
“These enthusiasts are part of the ongoing component between other American people and our Filipino friends, components, and allies. We will continue to paint in combination to defeat COVID-19,” Ambassador Kim said on an embassy website.
In addition to enthusiasts, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) will provide clinical education and technical assistance to enthusiast-led fitness services. In coordination with USAID and the Office of Civil Defense, DOH will facilitate the delivery of enthusiasts to hospitals in the Philippines.
This donation raises the overall U.S. contribution. To coVID-19’s reaction from the Philippines to more than one billion Mexican pesos ($22.6 million), provided through the U.S. State Department, USAID and the U.S. Department of Defense. U.S. aid strengthens fitness systems, supports economic recovery, and provides life-saving humanitarian assistance to populations.
Through a comprehensive technique that includes the U.S. public and personnel sectors, the United States offers at the right time the provision of essential materials in coordination with the Philippine government and other partners.
