U. S. Congress condemns China and WHO for ‘hiding COVID’

A leaked Congress report revealed that China had covered the severity of the coronavirus outbreak in that country and, with the help of an “accomplice” from the World Health Organization (WHO), would have allowed COVID-19 to become a pandemic.

The report, leaked to the New York Post and expected to be published later monday, said the pandemic “can probably be prevented. “

Echoing his feelings, President Trump criticized Chinese President Xi Jinping.

“I say it every single time I talk. And I’m mad at him [Xi] because he may have just been arrested, he may have been easily arrested,” Trump said on Fox.

Lawmakers say China has decided to destroy evidence to minimize coronavirus, while in February it takes strong action against exports to U. S. corporations for corporations, adding 3M, which manufactures masks and non-public protective equipment.

WHO Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus continued to congratulate China on its ”transparency”, even as the Communist Party of China (PCCh) suddenly added thousands of past hidden cases to its overall count in April, and suspicions were developing around the world.

“WHO has been complicit in the dissemination and standardization of PCCh propaganda and misinformation,” the auditors of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs wrote.

“Director General Tedros deserves to settle for duty for its negative effect on the reaction to COVID-19 and resign. “

China first warned WHO of a new emerging viral disease imaginable on 3 January. At the time, it was just “viral pneumonia of unknown cause” in Wuhan.

The first cases of the unknown disease occurred in late 2019, and the virus was first reported through a Chinese laboratory that suspected it could be highly infectious on January 1. WHO announced that China decided that the diseases were caused by a completely new virus on 9 January.

This timeline has been the subject of revisions in the United States and is central to the report’s assertions that China’s covert practices have made the world vulnerable to COVID-19.

The report accuses the cover-ups of opening the coronavirus floodgates to a pandemic and says genuine transparency may have stored thousands of lives around the world.

But it stops before advising the United States to withdraw from WHO amid the pandemic, as President Trump intends to do until July next year.

A recently leaked Foreign Affairs Committee report states that Chinese President Xi Jinping and the Communist Party of China concealed knowledge about the coronavirus outbreak and allowed it to follow a ‘probably preventable’ pandemic.

The report calls for the resignation of WHO Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and criticizes him for spreading Chinese ‘propaganda’ at the start of the pandemic
