Business leaders from 135 Japanese and U. S. corporations wrapped up a two-day assembly in Washington on Wednesday and agreed on the need for closer economic cooperation amid turmoil caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

The companies attending the assembly were interested in the following sectors: virtual economy, monetary services, health, energy and tourism.
