Two at the Lake of the Islands palladium mine north of Thunder Bay tested positive for COVID-19.
Impala Canada, the mine owner, says the other two people have been off site for about a week, are self-insulating and doing well.
On a Monday morning, the company said its pandemic reaction operational procedure was implemented in close collaboration with the Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) as soon as the positive effects of the control were received.

The couple’s direct paint groups and recent close contacts were notified upon receipt of verification results and sent off site to isolate them for 14 days.
“We’ve won a lot of negative check effects for those Americans and we’re waiting for the effects of the remaining checks,” he said.
He added that the couple had a “limited exposure” to most of the mining and crushing workforce of LDI.
“His paintings are carried out in a separate facility on the site. We continue to be more follow-up and additional action will be taken if necessary. “
The mine closed the maximum operations in early April after staff began to test positive for COVID-19.
There were a total of 25 shown in minors who developed symptoms between April 3 and 20.
One died as a result of headaches caused by the virus and had pre-existing fitness problems.
Mining operations resumed at the end of May.
The two recent maximum instances in Lake of the Islands are among the 4 new COVID-19 instances reported through TBDHU last Friday, bringing the number of instances in the district to date this year to 114, five of which are still active.
