Manitowoc County and the Wisconsin National Guard will host a COVID-19 check at the Manitowoc County Exhibition Center, 4921 Expo Drive, Manitowoc, 10 a. m. 6 p. m. on Tuesday.

A maximum of three hundred tests can be performed, and will be closed early if the maximum is reached.

No appointments are required, however, it is recommended to check in just before arrival. Logging reserves a time interval, but speeds up the testing process. People can register at https: // sign in. covidconnect. wi. gov/.

Rapid tests or antibody tests are not available. Those evaluated will get their effects by email or phone call from the state a few days after the test.

The check is loose and open to anyone with symptoms or those who have had close contact with a positive case. Anyone with close contact should be quarantined for 14 days and checked no earlier than five days after exposure. A check too soon after exposure can result in a false negative. Keep in mind that the negative check does not lose someone in their 40s.

You are in close contact if you have one of the following conditions applied while you have spent time with someone with COVID-19, even if you have spent time with them up to 48 hours before symptoms expand:
