In recordings broadcast tonight on Channel Thirteen, Sara, the wife of former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, can be heard calling Yuval Diskin, then head of the Shin Bet, a “” and an “imbecile. “
The verbal exchange between Sara Netanyahu and former family adviser Nir Hefetz, who is now a state witness opposed to Benjamin Netanyahu in his corruption trial, allegedly took a stand while Netanyahu was prime minister.
In the conversation, Sara Netanyahu complains about the safety of her own in Jerusalem.
“Tell Diskin. How do you make a decision?” he said. It’s all a cheek. I know the Shin Bet, I have been worried about safety for 20 years, you know how they work, they just cover their ass, accept it as truth with me.
“And this Diskin is insolent, it’s a piece of, how did they make their tenure longer for a year? He’s an idiot,” he said.
In an interview, Hefetz also talks about Netanyahu’s son, Yair, who tried to influence security policy around the clashes on the Temple Mount, calling his father weak.

Despite the debate, the Knesset will be asked to approve the deal, which will come back to the closet for final approval next week.
Opposition politicians demanded that the outgoing party submit the deal to parliament, accusing Prime Minister Yair Lapid of ceding Israel’s interests to the Hezbollah terror group.
Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara said the government did not want to seek Knesset approval or a referendum on the deal.

Ukraine has sent an official request to Israel for air defense systems, Walla News reports, publishing a copy of the statement sent yesterday.
In the letter, Ukraine notes that in addition to Iranian drones, Russia is obtaining Iranian ballistic missiles.
Given Iran’s involvement in the most recent attacks, Ukraine is asking Israel to send it several of its short-, medium- and long-range air defense systems and to supply Israeli experts to exercise Ukraine in their use.
The letter notes that Iran is gaining operational battlefield experience by its strike systems that will turn opposed to Israel.
The report comes hours after Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz reiterated that Israel would send weapons to Ukraine but could build a precautionary formula with rockets and drones for Ukrainians.
Since the early days of the invasion, senior Ukrainian officials have called on Israel to send its missile defense systems, especially Iron Dome, in public speeches and talks with decision-makers in Jerusalem.
But Jerusalem has so far refused to offer direct military aid to Kyiv, neither offensive weapons nor complex defensive generation, since Russian troops invaded Ukraine on Feb. 24 in a bid to avoid triggering a crisis with Moscow.
Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klitschko said “several Russian rockets” were shot down in the Ukrainian capital following reports of loud explosions in the city.
“Air defenses shot down Russian rockets over Kiev. Klitschko wrote on social media.
On Monday, Russian Iranian-made drone strikes on electrical infrastructure killed at least five other people in Kyiv.
The governor of the Kyiv region, Oleksiy Kuleba, wrote on social media that air defenses were being run in the region.
Ukraine’s army command in the north said on Facebook that “two more missiles” were shot down in the Chernigiv region, neighboring Kyiv.
New movements in electrical infrastructure were reported in the Vinnytsia region of central Ukraine.
A small Israeli army drone crashed in the West Bank city of Hebron the day before, according to the Israel Defense Forces.

The “Sky Rider,” as it is said in Hebrew, is a tactical surveillance drone created through Elbit Systems and operated through the IDF Artillery Corps.
The miniature drone can be introduced through one or two people, depending on the model, and once in flight, provides a video feed to infantrymen on the ground.
Former US President Donald Trump will testify in a defamation case that will pit him against a prominent American columnist who claims to have raped her in the 1990s.
E. Jean Carroll, 78, claims Trump sexually assaulted her at a New York store.
Last week, a federal court in New York ruled against a request by Trump, who has denied wrongdoing, to further delay his testimony.
Judge Lewis Kaplan said Carroll and Trump’s depositions are scheduled for Oct. 14 and Oct. 19, respectively.
Trump is expected to file an affidavit of his Mar-a-Lago in Florida, the New York Times reports.
Russian President Vladimir Putin is applying martial law in the 4 regions that Moscow recently annexed to Ukraine.
It also granted emergency powers to the heads of Russian regions.
Putin did not specify without delay what measures would be taken under martial law. But Russian law envisions that it can only involve restrictions on public gatherings and stricter censorship, as well as granting broader powers to law enforcement.
Putin specified the additional powers to be granted to the heads of Russian regions under his decree, in moves that were the latest sign that the fighting in Ukraine is on its way.
The Russian leader also said a coordination committee would be established for communication between the various government agencies on the pace of fighting in Ukraine, which he continued to call “the army’s special operation. “
Russia’s parliament space is expected to pass Putin’s resolution later that day.
Several loud explosions were heard today in central Kyiv, according to AFP journalists, after Russian forces earlier this week fed services in the capital and surrounding region.
At least two explosions occurred around 14:20 Kyiv time (11:20 GMT). On Monday, Russian Iranian-made drone strikes on electrical infrastructure killed at least five other people in the city.
Ukraine says its military has shot down more than 220 Iranian-made drones in more than a month, following attacks this week that used “suicide drones. “
“Since the first downing of an Iranian-made Shahed-136 suicide drone on Ukrainian territory on September 13, the Air Force and other parts of the Ukrainian Defense Forces have destroyed 223 of those drones,” the military said in a statement.
Defense Minister Benny Gantz reiterates that Israel will send weapons to Ukraine, but says Jerusalem can build a civilian early precaution formula in the besieged country to warn of nearby attacks, such as the one used in Israel.
Speaking to EU ambassadors a day after Ukraine announced it would submit an official request for Israeli air defense systems such as Iron Dome, Gantz made such a move.
“Israel follows a policy of attacking Ukraine through humanitarian aid and the provision of rescue systems and defensive equipment,” Gantz said.
“However, I must emphasize that Israel will not move weapons systems to Ukraine due to various operational considerations. We will continue with Ukraine within our boundaries, as we have done so far,” he said.
“As part of the expansion of aid and supply of rescue equipment, after a verbal exchange with representatives of Ukraine, we requested knowledge that would allow us to build and offer a wise precautionary formula like the one that exists in Israel against aerial and other threats. “Gantz said.
“Such a formula will have benefits both in saving civilian lives and in alerting and alarming affected areas,” he said.
Israel has been reluctant to send weapons to Ukraine, fearing it could affect its sensitive ties with Russia, which has a significant military presence in Syria.
Israel’s precautionary formula uses a combination of radars and electro-optical devices to stumble upon incoming launches, classify the duration and risk they pose, and map spaces that are at risk.
Citizens get warnings through sirens, alerts on their phones, and messages on television and radio.
